Sklar's® McGivney Hemorrhoid Ligator is an instrument used in one process for the removal of hemorrhoids. The McGivney ligature is used to place bands at the base of a hemorrhoid, thereby halting the blood flow, and causing the hemorrhoid to stop growing and fall off.
