Sklar's® Dechamps Needle is a ligature carrier used for guiding suture material into difficult to reach areas or deep muscle and tissue. It is frequently used in vaginal surgeries where the unique angle and curvature of the tip allows the user to place lateral ligatures. The tip of the instrument may be sharp or blunt. Both styles are sharp enough to penetrate tough tissue, but not cause damage to surrounding vessels. This product is curved to the right with sharp tips and an overall length of 8 inches. View Less
