Sklar's® Adson Dura Hook is a multipurpose instrument used primarily for lifting, retracting, and holding the tough, outermost layer of membrane that surrounds the brain, known as the dura. It may also be used for retraction of other tissue. The Adson Dura Hook is available with a sharp tip that can be used on less sensitive tissue and a blunt tip that can be used with delicate tissue.
