Description

Sklar's® Mayo Cat Gut Needles are commonly used with what is referred to as catgut sutures. The absorbable suture material was historically made from the intestines or tendons of cattle, sheep, or goats. Today, most catgut type sutures are made from synthetic materials that are still absorbable by the body. This product is for use in veterinary procedures. It is a #1 needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, and a taper point. It is sold in packs of 12.
